Les contraintes organisationnelles auxquelles sont confrontées les assistantes sociales de secteur ont changé. Face à l'augmentation des situations de détresse, leur marge de manoeuvre pour répondre aux demandes d'ordre matériel s'est restreinte. La technicité tend à s'effacer au profit de l'émotion et du dévouement. Cette transformation conduit à une impasse du point de vue de la construction du métier et structure le rapport des individus au collectif en radicalisant les stratégies de défense autour de la désignation d'un bouc émissaire.

Summary : The constraints of organization from district's social workers have changed. Faced to the increase of distress situations, their "room for negociation" have been restricted to replying to demands of material order. The technical nature leads to fade away for the benefit of emotion and devotion. This transformation reaches an impasse on the side of the profession's construction and structures the relationship from people to the collective of work, by radicalising the defensive strategies around the designation of a "scapegoat".
