Summary : In order to question the relevance of invoking the occupational sphere during psycho-therapeutic cure, the author starts from the testimony of a hypochondriac patient. She examines that which can, within the occupational sphere, support a psychic structure by using the articulation set forth by Jean Oury of the Real, Symbolic and Imaginary registers issued from Gisela Pankow's notion of "lived body". Vital feelings such as uneasiness, fatigue or, on the contrary, lightness of being would be closely linked to the quality of judgement that one makes upon oneself. The author would support the idea that this judgement would preferably take place within the occupational sphere.
